竞赛管理指在举行每个比赛项目时， 最大程度地执行每个国际单项联合会制定的规则和规章，目的在于让世界上最优秀的运动员发挥出他们最好的成绩。竞赛管理必须确保奥运会项目中所有比赛项目组织模式的一致性。组委会可以建立专门从事竞赛管理的部门。

Competition Management

　　    Competition Management relates to the implementation of the rules and regulations of each International Federation in the delivery of each sport at the highest level possible for the world's best athletes to stage their talents. Competition Management must ensure the sports on the Olympic programme are organised in a consistent manner from sport to sport. The OCOG may establish a functional area dealing with Competition Management aspects.
